Here we come...

Ahhhh... Greece... it's keeping me going...
I am trying to enjoy the ending of this season without wishing it away. I am trying to enjoy the 4 hours straight spent in the library. I really am. This is still my season for the time being and my mind is so focused on the next one...
I have an interview with the OSU med center on the 11th! Which is great news! Then off to Kentucky for the weekend with some awesome people to learn about true community. Should be a good time.
a time for peace... and a time for war...
love.

Once you think your in... your out

My dad, via text, just offered me $50 and dinner at my favorite pub in Gahanna if I didn't go to graduation...

Grandpa is offering a similar deal if not more...

I'm no stupid lady... I'm all over that deal.

Life is so much better when you are in your underwear...

The new Sia cd is quite possibly the best thing since sliced bread. It moves in me... and I love when music can do that. Other than the very patient and gentle hands of God, it's the only other thing holding me together and keeping me joyous.

This March snow surprise is terrible. It wouldn't be except for the fact that I had two tickets to see Wicked in Cleveland last night and a hotel room in PlayHouseSquare that I was not able to use. I couldn't even get my car out of the parking spot. All of it was non refundable of course. It was originally my parents who were supposed to see the play and stay in Cleveland for the night but my mom got stranded in Chicago and they switched everything over to my name.

Talk about a bummer. I seriously considered walking. Or sledding there. It didn't happen. What a waste of money.

Spring break = 1 week
Graduation = 2 months

there is that.

Your kingdom come...

I've been thinking a lot recently about the holy moments we get to encounter... and how it's like heaven on earth. Heaven on earth is such a beautiful thought in itself. It's crazy to think that we play a part in bringing heaven to earth.

On the other hand... hell on earth is a reality too. Recently at NIU... but more than that... in our own hearts and in our own lives. We are also capable of sometimes hellish things and when I think about us being capable of bring hell to earth... it makes me quiver. I don't want to do that... but I know at times, I do.

My heart needs some major healing... laughter and music have been helping with that this week...

it's going to have to get deeper than that...

"We struggle in our connection with the earth, in our connections with each other, and with being connected with ourselves. But it wasn't always like this. We were born into a world, into a condition, of disconnection. Things were created to be a certain way, and they're not that way, and we feel in in every fiber of our being." Rob Bell

I feel it in every fiber of my being...

Thank you Anne...

"But the way I see things, God loves you the same whether you're being elegant or not. It feels much better when you are, but even when you can't fake it, God still listens to your prayers."

"Auden was right when he wrote, "I know nothing, except what everyone knows- if there when grace dances, I should dance."

I'm dancing...

"It's just a phase"

Today... I have never been more thankful for friends... and for grace/mercy.

A spirit of thankfulness can be so refreshing sometimes...

And solid friends can be even more refreshing...

The Goat with Jen A, Allison, and Jen M... a long and understanding-ful chat with Aubrey... a freedom talk with LLC... and wonderful Caribou chats with Kel Kim and Lisa really softened my heart today. All in one day... all those beautiful people who I love and who love me. That feels really really good. And really really needed.

Thank you for the imperfect love of people Lord!
